Anne Curtis

Anne Curtis Smith is a Filipino Australian model, actress television host, and singer-songwriter. She has received numerous honors throughout her career. This includes two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards in addition to as five PMPC Star Awards in the television category. She was also recognized twice in the Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis has appeared in films such as Hiram Kampanerang Kuba (2005), Maging Sino Ka Man Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) as well as Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2003). In the Mars Ravelo show Dyesebel she played Komiks legendary character Dyesebel. Also, she was the host of It's showtime, a midday variety show (2009-2020). Anne Curtis was born in Melbourne in Australia on 17th February in 1985. She is a Filipina and an Australian actress. Through her lengthy career, she has won many awards such as the two FAMAS Awards two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and being awarded five PMPC Star Awards. Furthermore, she was nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards as well as eight PMPC Star Awards in the Movies. Curtis was in the roles of Hiram (2004), Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa (2007) Green Rose (2011) Green Rose (2011), and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013). She also appeared in 2014 as she appeared as Komiks character Dyesebel as part of Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. In addition, she hosted the variety show It's Showtime every day at noon. (2009-2010) Curtis is the daughter Carmencita Ojales, a Filipina originally from Bolinao Pangasinan, and James Ernest Curtis Smith who was an Australian lawyer. Born in Yarrawonga within Victoria, Australia. In 1982, her father became married to Ojales. Her younger sister Jasmine also acts as an actress. On their father's side they had a half-sister called Clare who passed away in 2007 due to a cardiovascular disease at four months old.
